Volunteers Needed!
There are a number of ways to become involved!
Halloween Bash

This year's PTA sponsored Halloween Party will be held on Thursday October 29, 2026, from 5-7 pm! You can find more information about the event here.
Brianna Fulara is the chair of the Halloween Bash, with the help of a sub-committee for each of the major portions of the event.
There are lots of ways to help and volunteer:
* Lead a Sub-Committee: 4 volunteers are needed to lead one each of the sub-committees (Haunted House and Decor, Trunk or Treat, Concessions, Games/Gym). Click here for more info and to sign up! Please note that if you sign up to lead a committee, you are not alone and will receive lots of help!
* Sign up for a shift: Volunteers are need to help set-up during the week of the party, volunteer during the actual party, or help clean-up immediately after or help break-down and put away everything the following week. This does not have to be a large time commitment - even an hour shift is an immense help! Click here for more info and to sign up!
Become a Room Parent
Please stay tuned as information becomes available
Other Ways to Volunteer
You don't need to be a room parent to volunteer! We have a long list of events and fundraisers throughout the year, and we can always use your help, either behind the scenes or working with students! Below are some of our larger events we need volunteers for - take a look and see what interests you!
As each event draws near, we'll send out more information on how to sign up to volunteer.
Book Fairs
At both Leigh (Fall and Spring) and Giles (Fall only) we host a week long book fair, and we need volunteers to either work the register or walk the floor to help students pick out books.
Field Day
At the end of the year, we host a day of outdoor fun at both Leigh and Giles! We need volunteers for shifts throughout the day to help supervise that fun.
Halloween Bash
We put on a big Halloween party each year, and we need as many volunteers as we can get! We need people to help set up, work the event (including the haunted house, games, selling tickets, selling concessions, etc), and breaking down/cleaning up.
Teacher Appreciation Week
To show our teachers how much we appreciate them, we host a week of activities in the spring at both Leigh and Giles, including a home-cooked pot-luck dinner! We need volunteers to cook a dish, or purchase sides, snacks, drinks, plates and cutlery.
Santa's Workshop
Leigh hosts a week long Santa's Workshop, where students can shop for holiday gifts for their family/friends. We need volunteers to work the cash registers and walk the floor to help students make their purchases.
And many more...
There are several other opportunities to help throughout the year, so keep an eye out for more information!
